Hospital located in Western suburbs is seeking a Medical Transcriptionist for a part time temporary opportunity. Medical Transcriptionist will be responsible for listening to tapes recorded by medical staff and typing information exactly as stated into computer files. May use standard word-processing software or customized databases. Requires solid knowledge of medical terminology, spelling and abbreviations, and exceptional typing speed (70+ wpm) and accuracy. Medical Transcriptionist must have pathology experience.
