Our Medical Transcription Department has an immediate full-time 2nd shift opportunity available.  Requirements Under general supervision but according to standard procedures, transcribes physician dictation for inclusion in patient's medical record as an in-house-based employee. Special skills include: 1. Candidate must have a very strong Pathology transcription background. 2.  Strong knowledge of Medical Terminology with an ability to demonstrate success in Pathology. 3. Mental, visual and aural skills to concentrate for prolonged periods of time, attending simultaneously to dictation and corresponding transcription. 4. Proficient typing skills. 5. Knowledge of English and associated grammar / sentence structure. 6. In addition, experience in Radiology, Cardiology, History & Physicals, Consults, Operative Reports and Discharges is preferred.
