Job Title: Experienced Medical Biller Company: Location: Washington, dc Description: We are currently looking for an experienced OB/GYN medical biller for our billing department. Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to): - Paper and Electronic payment posting - Calling insurance companies to check on claim status - Performing follow-up and collection work on outstanding balances - Answering patients phone calls and working closely with them on their inquiries - Obtaining insurance benefits and authorizations _Filing daily EOB's in various binders as well as checks in patients charts The ideal candidate will have a minimum of five years OB/GYN experience, be punctual, friendly, and detail-oriented. The right candidate will be mature, professional, and comfortable taking on new tasks. Typical hours are 9 - 5;30pm, although we may occasionally require some flexibility. Compensation based on experience.
