Job Title: ***Experienced Medical Biller/Collector Needed*** Company: Location: Honolulu, HI Description: Busy Urgent Care practice in Kahala is in need of an experienced medical biller/collector. The ideal candidate will be a self motivated, customer service pro, accurate medical biller and skilled collector/negotiator. They must be: ? Experienced in ICD-9 and CPT Coding. ? At least 2 years of verifiable experience in electronic/paper billing, coding and collections. ? Experience with Island health plans, Medicare, PPOs, HMOs, and some workman?s comp claims ? Experience in preparing and following up/researching all types of outstanding claims. The ability to problem solve to get us paid snd file successful appeals if needed. ? Highly skilled in handling calls to and from patients and insurance companies about balances owed ? Highly motivated self-starter. Must be able to work independently. ?
