This position performs medical case review focusing on DRG and coding validation as outlined in the QIO manual and/or applicable contracts and assists with program activities in the Clinical Review Department. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Performs required nonphysician review activities for each review type within specified time frames and guidelines of the QIO Manual for assigned reviews.
