Were looking for an experienced Medical Front Desk Coordinator, though we are also open to training a highly motivated individual who is eager to learn and grow.

Key Responsibilities:
Greeting patients and checking patients into the office
Managing telephone calls and checking call logs
Making new patient appointments and managing existing appointments Answering to new patient internet and telephone inquiries.
Checking patients in/out for their appointments.
Assisting with room flow and room turnover.
Assists with coordination of clinical schedule.
Handling patient and business correspondence.
Performing paperwork tasks regarding clinical and business documents.
Maintains general appearance, cleanliness of exam rooms.
Receives and organizes the handling of office and clinical supplies.
Attend staff meetings and offer suggestions.
Listen to others with an open mind.
Offers to help during downtime.
Exhibits professional appearance and dresses in professional clinical attire
Consistently exhibits behavior and communication skills that demonstrate a commitment to superior customer service.
Uses, protects, and discloses patients protected health information (PHI) only in accordance with Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) standards.
Performs other tasks as requested by office manager or physician(s).

Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in a medical office setting is preferred (Facial Plastic Surgery experience is a plus), but we are happy to train the right candidate with a strong willingness to learn.
Strong communication skills and ability to multi-task.
Exceptional attention to detail and organization.
Proficiency in medical software and patient management systems is a plus (Patient Now)- not required
Team-oriented and people-motivated skills set required.
Working Knowledge and ability to perform basic computer skills (i.e. send and respond to emails, send and receive attachments via email) AND be proficient with office programs to include but not limited to: Microsoft Office Suite-Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Gmail, and Adobe)
Typing skills Must possess Minimum 60 WPM
QuickBooks Certification or Knowledge - Highly Desired not required
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
