Answers the telephone and disburses calls in a friendly, prompt and professional manner. Conveys messages accurately and appropriately. Coordinates Patient and Medical records in a timely manner to ensure prompt delivery and payment for medical equipment and supplies. Enters orders accurately and according to defined policies. Handles routine Patient questions as they arise and forwards questions requiring research to the appropriate staff. Pursues activities with focus and drive, defines work in terms of success, and can be counted on to complete goals. Adherence to standards of business conduct and compliance. Effectively able to multitask and prioritize tasks. Able to work in a fast-paced environment. Adaptable to change. Ability to present empathy, compassion and understanding to our patients. Skills healthcare, customer service, medical, Project coordination Additional Skills & Qualifications Best candidate: billing, clinical, Medicaid, insurance Must be personable Comfortable on the phones - outbound and inbound Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure Knowledge of basic computer software, and the ability to learn billing software and electronic medical records required Communicates well with patients and medical staff
