Medical Receptionist - Brentwood Clinic - LaVista NE

Job Summary:

The medical receptionist position working in our healthcare clinic in LaVista, Nebraska, serves as the first point of contact for patients, greeting them warmly, managing phone communications, and coordinating appointment scheduling. This role requires professionalism, strong organizational skills, and the ability to handle patient information confidentially while supporting the clinics daily operations while scheduling patient appointments and registering patients.

Shift Details:

  • Monday - Friday: 8:30am - 5:00pm; 8 Hour Shifts

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 16 years of age required.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide a high level of customer service to physicians, patients and other internal/external customers required.
  • Ability to work professionally with physicians, clinic staff and patients in a timely, confidential manner required.
  • Demonstrated analytical, prioritization and organizational skills required.
  • Demonstrated flexibility and dedication to team environment required.
  • Effective communication skills required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High school education or equivalent preferred.
  • One-year post-secondary education with coursework in business, medical assistant program or nursing assistant program OR equivalent combination of education/experience in customer service or medical scheduling related capacity (one year of education equals one year of experience) preferred.
  • Nursing Assistant or Medical Assistant preferred.
  • Preferred knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel preferred.
  • Depending on the position available, fluency in Spanish preferred.
