Medical Records Assistant - Part Time Join Our Team at Western Slope Healthcare Center! $20-$23/hour DOE Are you organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about supporting quality patient care behind the scenes? Western Slope Healthcare Center is looking for a dedicated Medical Records Assistant to help maintain accurate, secure, and compliant resident health records. What You'll Do As a key part of our team, you will: Maintain and organize resident medical records (paper & electronic) Ensure charts are complete, accurate, and compliant with regulations Protect confidential health information in accordance with HIPAA Respond to medical records requests and coordinate with staff and agencies File, retrieve, and track records efficiently Collaborate with nursing, administrative staff, and consultants Assist with reports, audits, and documentation processes What We're Looking For High school diploma or GED required Typing speed of 45+ WPM Strong computer and data entry skills Knowledge of medical terminology (preferred, not required) Excellent organization and attention to detail Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced healthcare environment Why Join Western Slope Healthcare Center?
