Clerical Billing Support Specialist (Hybrid) - Plano, TX
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Clerical Billing Support Specialist to support daily administrative and billing operations in a hybrid position based in Plano . This role is ideal for someone with a foundational understanding of commercial insurance payers , basic medical billing knowledge, and experience working within Brightree . While experience in Durable Medical Equipment (DME) and oxygen billing is beneficial, it is not required.
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, able to manage multiple priorities efficiently, and comfortable collaborating with multiple internal teams to support documentation and billing workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and process daily physical mail received at the office
Review and work from shared electronic files and documentation systems daily
Upload, organize, and maintain documentation within Brightree
Communicate and coordinate with internal departments as documentation is received
Support billing workflows by ensuring documentation is complete, accurate, and timely
Maintain organized records and assist with clerical and administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Basic knowledge of medical billing and commercial insurance payers
Experience with Brightree preferred
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication and collaboration skills
DME and/or oxygen billing experience is a plus, but not required
Compensation:
$24.00-$26.00 per hour (based on experience)
