Medical Billing Specialist

Medical Billing Specialist (Pittsburgh) compensation: 15.00 an hour employment type: job title: Medical Billing Specialist In need of an experience medical biller for my Medical Billing Company. This is a part time position. Flexible schedule and work from home. If you are not located in the Pittsburgh area, please do not apply as we need to connect sometimes to verify your workspace is HIPPA compliant and our IT dept might have to may visit your location to set up a secure log in and secure your computer. Has to be able to work independently and be able to stay on task if interruptions happen. Work needs done in a timely manner. Knowledge of ICD 10 and Cpt code especially for mental health is helpful. Needs to have an understanding of denied claims and be able to correct them if necessary. Also needs to be able to verify patient benefits regarding copays, deductibles, etc. You will work closely with several providers and they are mostly small practices.
