House Call Doctors is a small medical practice located in downtown Salt Lake City. Over the past 22 years, we have built a culture that allows for all employees, regardless of their role or tenure, to express concerns and feel heard, valued, and included in company decisions and policies.
We are currently accepting resumes for two receptionists. These are full time positions Monday-Friday 9am--4pm (35 hours/week.) One job position is based in downtown Salt Lake City, the other is based at our new satellite location in Sandy.
ResponsibilitiesThis position includes:
- receiving incoming phone calls and routing them to the correct destination,
- scanning in medical documents,
- sorting incoming faxes,
- greeting guests,
- taking patient payments,
- rescheduling patient visits,
- following up on outstanding medical records requests
- and some other assorted smaller tasks.
This person must work in our office every day as this is NOT a remote position.
QualificationsThe receptionist is the first person anyone interacts with, and first impressions are huge! We are looking for someone with:
- A positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to make our patients feel comfortable, whether in person or over the phone.
- Great phone etiquette
- Computer knowledge
- Proper grammar and spelling
- Experience with medical terminology is a plus!
- Previous receptionist experience is a HUGE plus!
