Schedule: Full-time, Monday-Friday (daytime hours)
About the Opportunity
We're a third-party recruiting partner hiring for a confidential healthcare organization in Albuquerque, NM seeking a Medical Scheduler to support a busy patient access team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment, has strong phone skills, and can confidently manage inbound and outbound calls while keeping patient scheduling accurate and organized.
What You'll Do
- Answer high-volume inbound calls from patients and clinic teams to schedule appointments
- Make outbound calls to confirm appointments and provide pre-visit information
- Schedule services and coordinate calendars across departments
- Update and verify patient demographics and appointment details in the system
- Support referral workflows and communicate with internal teams
- Maintain accuracy, professionalism, and confidentiality while meeting productivity expectations
What We're Looking For
- 1+ year of scheduling, call center, patient access, or medical office experience preferred
- Strong phone presence and ability to handle both inbound and outbound calls
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
