Work Schedule:

  • Full-Time (80 hours bi-weekly)

  • Day Shift

  • No Weekend, Holiday or On Call Commitment

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED Degree or GED in Clerical (Required)

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Basic computer

  • Keyboard skills

  • Knowledge of copier, fax, printer, phones

  • Communication skills

  • Ability to sort and file alphabetically

Job Overview:

This position performs functions necessary to organize, maintain, and use patient records. One may specialize in one or more of the standard functions listed below. Specific assignments will vary from day to day based on the needs of the Department

Job Responsibilities:

  • Completes daily work reports / journal in order to account for productive hours and contributes to work standards and budgeting of the Department.

  • May stamp mail, distribute incoming mail/faxes into mailboxes, empties shuttle and distributes

Outcomes may include, Completing FMLA forms, disability forms, attorney requests, and insurance requests.

  • Pulls, refile charts, routes paperwork, to appropriate locations, responds to phone calls and maintains faxes in a timely manner.

  • Receives and completes release of patient information in compliance of HIPPA and Department policy.

  • Receives and completes release of patient information in compliance with HIPAA and department policies.
