Front Office Representative - Albuquerque, NM (Temp-to-Hire)

- Mon-Thu: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Fri: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- 8-9 Saturdays/year (you'll receive a weekday off when scheduled)
About the Opportunity
We're a third-party recruiting partner hiring for a confidential healthcare organization in Albuquerque, NM seeking a Front Office Representative. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys supporting patients, staying organized, and working in a busy front office environment. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity for someone looking for stability and long-term growth.
What You'll Do
- Greet patients and visitors and deliver a welcoming, professional front desk experience
- Answer phones, route calls, and assist with general inquiries
- Schedule appointments and support daily administrative workflows
- Verify and update patient demographics and maintain accurate records
- Assist with basic insurance verification and collect payments/co-pays when applicable
- Support clinical staff with administrative coordination as needed
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times
What We're Looking For
- Prior experience in a receptionist, front office, medical office, patient access, or customer service role preferred
- Strong communication, phone etiquette, and multitasking skills
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting with frequent interruptions
- Basic computer proficiency; EHR/EMR experience is a plus
- Reliable attendance and flexibility for occasional Saturday coverage (with a weekday off)
