Join Allied Physicians Group as a Float Medical Assistant / Receptionist supporting multiple office locations throughout Staten Island. This role is ideal for someone adaptable, patient-focused, and comfortable balancing both clinical and front desk responsibilities. No two days are exactly the same, and that's what makes this role exciting. What You'll Do Greet and check in patients while providing excellent customer service Schedule appointments and assist with patient registration Answer phones, process messages, and support office communication Verify insurance, collect copays, and maintain accurate patient information Obtain vitals, update medical histories, and assist with patient intake Prepare patients for visits and support providers during appointments as needed Perform basic clinical duties including specimen collection, and point-of-care testing as applicable Support referrals, forms, scanning, and general administrative tasks Adapt quickly to different office workflows and team environments Travel between offices based on operational needs What We're Looking For 3-5 years of Medical Assistant and/or Medical Receptionist experience required Medical Assistant certification preferred Experience with AthenaOne and/or Phreesia strongly required Strong multitasking, organizational, and communication skills Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments Professional, dependable, and team-oriented attitude Comfortable traveling between multiple office locations Pediatric or multi-site medical office experience preferred High School Diploma or equivalent required Schedule & Flexibility This is a float position supporting multiple offices throughout the division. Work locations and schedules may vary based on operational needs, staffing support, and office coverage. Flexibility and reliability are key to success in this role. Compensation Offered: Hourly - Hourly Plan, 25.00 USD Hourly The salary/rate provided complies with local regulations and reflects the potential base compensation for this role.
