Role Overview

As a Medical Office Coordinator, you will play a key leadership and operational role within the practice, supporting staff, improving workflows, and ensuring an exceptional patient experience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the Site Manager in supporting team members within the assigned practice
  • Overseeing and supporting revenue cycle operations, including check-in/check-out and collecting payments
  • Scheduling appointments, procedures, and surgeries
  • Managing patient inquiries and supporting overall patient experience
  • Entering orders, maintaining accurate patient records, and utilizing multiple systems to manage workflows
  • Monitoring patient flow and resolving patient concerns
  • Training and assisting in the evaluation of front- and back-office team members
  • Maintaining a professional and efficient office environment
  • Acting as leader in charge in the managers absence
  • Performing other duties as assigned
Qualifications Education

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Experience

Required:

  • Two (2) years of Medical Office or healthcare experience

Highly Preferred:

  • Demonstrated leadership experience in a Medical Office Coordinator, Team Lead, or supervisory role within a healthcare setting, with the ability to oversee daily operations and support staff
  • Proven ability to lead, train, and mentor front- and back-office teams while coordinating patient workflows in a fast-paced medical office environment
