As a Patient Access Representative (PAR) , you play a vital role in creating a smooth, supportive experience for patients and families from the moment they connect with us. Whether youre scheduling appointments, verifying insurance, assisting with admissions, or helping patients understand their financial responsibilities, your work helps keep care moving forward.

This role combines customer service, problem-solving, and attention to detail in a fast-paced healthcare environment where compassion and communication matter every day.

💼 What Youll Do

  • Greet and assist patients, families, and visitors in person and by phone

  • Schedule appointments and coordinate patient services accurately and efficiently

  • Register patients and update demographic, insurance, and guarantor information

  • Verify insurance eligibility and collect required documentation

  • Support admissions, transfers, discharges, and bed placement processes as needed

  • Explain financial responsibilities, collect payments, and connect patients with financial assistance resources

  • Answer calls and direct patients to the appropriate departments and services

  • Collaborate with clinical and support teams to help ensure a seamless patient experience

  • High School Diploma or GED (or equivalent experience)

  • 2 years of customer service and/or healthcare experience preferred
