MHS is seeking part-time Medical Administrative Assistants to support the daily operations of the Health Center & School-based medical clinic. This role provides administrative support through appointment scheduling, transportation coordination, recordkeeping, and communication with staff, students, and parent/sponsors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule student specialty appointments and coordinate transportation

  • Maintain medical records and related documentation

  • Provide front-desk and clerical support

  • Communicate with students, staff, and parent/sponsors

  • Maintain confidentiality and follow health and safety standards

  • Support the Health Services team in promoting student well-being

Location: On-site in Hershey, PA

Schedule: Year-round position, up to 29 hours per week. Available shifts are Monday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 3:15 p.m., and Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Compensation: $19.45 to $25.96 per hour, based on experience. Part-time employees are eligible for a retirement savings plan, EAP, free lunches when on duty, and Hershey-area discounts.

Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • At least 1 year of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting

  • Knowledge of medical terminology and medical records

  • Current CPR and First Aid certification

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related systems

  • Valid Pennsylvania drivers license in good standing

  • Strong organization, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality, work independently, and collaborate with a team

  • Demonstrated integrity and willingness to actively engage with students.
