Medical Support Specialist A well-established specialty medical practice in Whitefish, Montana, providing advanced cosmetic and restorative care in a professional, patient-focused environment is seeking a Medical Support Specialist. The role combines front office coordination, clinical support, and instrument sterilization responsibilities. You'll be assisting with patient scheduling and reception, preparing patients and procedure rooms, supporting the physician during treatments and consultations, and maintaining sterile instruments and equipment. Success in this role requires a proactive approach, the ability to multitask efficiently, and a commitment to maintaining a welcoming, organized, and safety-focused environment. Starting Wage: $21/hour Schedule: Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Essential Functions and Duties: Greet patients and visitors, manage phone communications, schedule appointments, and maintain a professional front office environment Assist patients with forms, update demographic and medical information, and maintain confidentiality Prepare exam and procedure rooms while ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adherence to sterile protocols Room patients, record vital signs and medical histories, and assist the physician during consultations and in-office procedures Provide pre- and post-operative patient education, process specimens, maintain medical supply inventory, and ensure accurate clinical documentation Clean, sterilize, organize, and prepare medical instruments and equipment while maintaining sterilization logs and infection control standards Qualifications: Medical Assistant certification preferred Previous experience in a medical office, specialty clinic, plastic surgery, or dermatology setting preferred Experience with assisting procedures and the instrument sterilization processes Familiarity with medical terminology, EMR systems Experience in a front desk operations and Microsoft Office applications BLS/CPR certification preferred, High school diploma or equivalent required Ability to pass a pre-employment background screening Get in touch!
