About our client Addison Group is hiring multiple Medical Schedulers on behalf of our client, a healthcare organization seeking to expand its patient access team. This position focuses on appointment scheduling, patient communication, and maintaining high-quality service in a fast-paced call center environment. Job Description The Scheduling Representative plays a key role in connecting patients with healthcare services by coordinating appointments and gathering essential information for registration. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage a high volume of calls while maintaining a positive patient experience. Key Responsibilities Handle incoming calls and place outbound calls to schedule patient appointments across multiple service lines Accurately collect and confirm patient demographics and insurance details to support preregistration Provide clear instructions regarding appointment preparation, arrival times, and facility locations Route messages, documentation, and physician orders to appropriate departments when needed Maintain organized tracking of scheduling requests, voicemails, and follow-up items Deliver a high level of customer service by actively listening and responding to patient needs with professionalism and empathy Meet established performance metrics related to call quality, productivity, and accuracy Support team efforts by adapting to fluctuating call volumes and assisting where needed Qualifications 1+ year of experience in a call center, scheduling, or healthcare-related role required Familiarity with medical terminology and basic insurance concepts required Strong verbal communication skills with clear and professional phone presence Demonstrated ability to multitask and navigate multiple systems simultaneously High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry Comfortable working in a fast-paced, performance-driven environment Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus but not required Work Environment Onsite, office-based setting Business casual dress code Team-oriented atmosphere within a structured scheduling center Free onsite parking available Perks Opportunity for long-term growth into advanced roles (Coordinator, Specialist, etc.) Flexible scheduling options may become available based on tenure Supportive training program with dedicated onboarding resources Stable contract-to-hire opportunity with advancement potential Additional Details Training: Structured onboarding with dedicated trainer Addison Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
