Job Summary

We are seeking a professional and personable Receptionist for a contract opportunity with a respected financial services organization in West Palm Beach, FL. This temporary assignment is expected to last approximately six months and offers the chance to work in a polished, client-focused office environment.

As the Receptionist, you will serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, executives, and business partners. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating a welcoming experience, communicates with confidence, and takes pride in representing an organization with professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

- Greet clients, visitors, and business partners with professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail.
- Answer and direct incoming phone calls promptly, courteously, and accurately.
- Manage visitor check-in procedures, conference room scheduling, and reception area organization.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, deliveries, and office supply coordination.
- Provide administrative support including data entry, filing, document preparation, and general office assistance.
- Maintain confidentiality while delivering a polished and positive client experience.

Compensation and Benefits

- Salary range: $27 to $29 per year.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
- Duration: Approximately 6 months.
- Overtime: Paid overtime available.

Required Qualifications and Skills

- Serve as the first point of contact for clients, visitors, executives, and office guests.
- Manage front desk operations, phone calls, visitor check-in, conference rooms, and reception area presentation.
- Support daily administrative tasks including mail handling, data entry, filing, and document preparation.
- Coordinate office supplies and assist departments with day-to-day operational needs.

- Previous receptionist, front desk, administrative, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
- Experience level: 6 to 10 years.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional appearance, polished demeanor, and strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain calm in a busy office environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office technology.
- Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and customer-service focused.
- Comfortable interacting with executives, clients, visitors, and business partners.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality in a professional financial services environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Prior experience in a financial services, corporate office, professional services, or executive reception environment.
- Experience supporting conference room scheduling, visitor management, and front office procedures.
- Strong ability to create a high-quality client and visitor experience in a professional setting.
