Medical Biller - Temporary (12 Weeks) - Possible for fulltime hire

We are seeking an experienced Medical Biller to support a busy revenue cycle team in Aurora. This is a 12-week temporary assignment focused heavily on professional fee claims. This role plays a critical part in maintaining accurate billing processes and supporting timely reimbursement so providers can focus on patient care.
Key Responsibilities
Enter and process physician charges within eClinicalWorks (eCW) and oversee professional claim submission
Perform billing in Greenway Health, including coordination of benefits and secondary billing
Submit claims through clearinghouses and manage ERA/EFT posting
Investigate and resolve claim denials, rejections, and underpayments; submit appeals as needed
Conduct accounts receivable (A/R) follow-up using aging reports to ensure timely collections
Review EOBs, remittance details, and payer guidelines to ensure billing accuracy and compliance
Collaborate with providers and internal teams to resolve documentation or charge discrepancies
Qualifications
At least 2+ years of medical billing or revenue cycle experience (physician billing required)
Working knowledge of CPT, ICD-10, HCPCS, and payer guidelines (Medicare, Medicaid, commercial)
Proficiency in Excel and ability to analyze billing data
Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills
