Job Position: Patient Coordinator

Job Location: 156 Cumberland Parkway, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055

Job Type: Full-Time

Salary Description: $17.00-$18.00/hour, based on experience

  • Ensure an amazing patient experience through friendly, enthusiastic, and professional service with all patients, team members and external partners.
  • Answer telephone calls, greet patients and visitors upon arrival, and provide excellent customer service for all questions or concerns.
  • Articulate the services and products available in the clinic.
  • Register new patients in line with acceptable standards of the clinic, support patients in completing medical forms at the clinic to avoid errors and inaccurate information.
  • Maintain the patient’s electronic medical record and coordinate the scheduling of the patient’s future appointments with all providers as directed.
  • Collect payment at the time of service and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Request and track authorizations for all funding streams to ensure approval.
  • Produce accurate and timely end of day reports.
  • Attend team meetings or events as requested.
  • High School Diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and exp.
  • Medical receptionist experience a plus
  • EMR scheduling software knowledge a plus
  • Spreadsheet and Word Processing software.
