Are you looking to make a difference in the medical administration field? S P O T, INC is seeking a dedicated Medical Biller to join our team in Redding, CA 96001. As a Medical Biller with us, you will have the opportunity to work in person and contribute to the success of our organization. Join us and enjoy sick leave benefits while earning a competitive salary between $40,000 and $50,000. Part time employment is an option as well. 

Daily Responsibilities:

• Process payment postings accurately and efficiently
• Assign Healthcare Common Procedure Coding System (HCPCS) codes to services provided
• Utilize ICD-10 coding to accurately code diagnoses
• Handle claims processing and ensure timely submission
• Manage the revenue cycle and ensure accurate medical billing and coding

Required Skills:

• Experience with medical billing and coding
• Knowledge of insurance billing and claims processing
• Proficiency in medical terminology
• Ability to work with Medicaid and private insurance companies
• Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with accounts receivable
• Knowledge of business correspondence
• Patient care experience
