Curant Health is searching for a Patient Care Coordinator to join its team in Smyrna, GA Responsibilities With your passion to help patients, your drive to make an impact on those you care for, and your commitment to customer service, you will serve as the primary link between our patients, physicians and pharmacy. We have listed a few or your responsibilities below: Provide a superior patient experience by providing pharmacy customer service to an assigned group of patients. Communicate clearly and effectively both in person and on the phone to a variety of audiences, including patients, patient care providers, physicians, pharmacists, and staff. Accurately load patients in PioneerRX, including verifying insurance, inputting medical records, updating, and maintaining as needed. Make outgoing refill reminder calls to patients. Generate reorder paperwork for the pharmacy department to fulfill the refill request. Document all pertinent information on patient communications. Assists the Pharmacy Department as needed. Refers the patient or the patient's family to other community resources as needed. General administrative support as assigned by the manager. Have a general understanding of and perform in compliance with the current Specialty Pharmacy URAC standards applicable to the position. Qualifications Requires a high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 1 year of experience. Experience in a retail pharmacy environment preferred. Must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of Georgia. Certification is a plus. Must be bilingual (English/Spanish) Why Work for Us?
