Position Purpose:

Join our Primary Care team as a Business Services Representative and be the welcoming face and voice that helps patients feel cared for from the very first interaction. In this essential front-office role, youll handle a variety of administrative responsibilities, including answering high call volumes with professionalism and care, scheduling appointments, registering patients, verifying insurance, and collecting copays and payments. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will be key as you manage pre-certifications, referrals, and assist with chart preparation to keep our practice running smoothly.

Were looking for a reliable team player who shows initiative, arrives on time, and is ready to jump in and support the team wherever neededincluding traveling to nearby offices for coverage when necessary. If youre a fast learner with medical receptionist experience (a plus!) and bilingual skills (preferred but not required), this is a fantastic opportunity to grow with a supportive and collaborative Primary Care team dedicated to delivering compassionate patient care.

What you will do:

  • Greets and communicates with patients via phone or in person in a courteous and professional manner identifying themselves and their department.

  • Answers telephones in a timely, courteous, and professional manner utilizing appropriate scripting.

  • Processes calls to ensure patients are transferred to the appropriate staff member/provider in a timely manner.

  • Schedules patient appointments based on department protocols in order to maximize provider productivity.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Experience within a medical office or billing department preferred. Knowledge of patient billing and medical terminology preferred

  • Excellent keyboard skills. Requires proficiency in a Windows based computer environment and Microsoft Office products. Accuracy and dependability required.
