Are you looking for a rewarding career in the healthcare industry? Alafaya Woods Family Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Medical Front Office Supervisor to join our team in Oviedo, FL. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our front office and providing exceptional service to our patients.

Daily Responsibilities:

• Supervise a staff of 3 employees
• Demonstrate knowledge of insurance verification processes including HMO, PPO , MCR ADV, EPO
• Utilize Athena software for patient records
• Collect copays, deductibles, and balances
• Handle cash and credit card transactions
• Run daily reports for close of day 
• Demonstrate proficiency in Quick Books
• Ensure all patient calls are handled appropriately and the schedules are organized and full per templates.

Required Skills:

• Proficiency in Microsoft applications
• Experience with supervision of staff in a medical office setting
• GED or equivalent education
• Strong focus on quality driven services
• Multi Task and demostrate a calm professional demeanor 

Nice to Have Skills:

• Data Driven analytics
• Background in hospitality management
• Knowledge of patient scheduling and office procedures
• Experience with new employee orientation
• Athena EMR is a Bonus

Salary and Benefits:

Starting salary range: $40,000 - $44,000 per year

Benefits include health, life, dental, and vision insurance, as well as paid time off.
