Position Details: Location: Mercy Hospital Jefferson - Health Information Department 1400 US Highway 61 Festus, Missouri 63028 Hours/Schedule Full-Time Days Minimum Qualifications: Education: High school diploma or equivalent; medical terminology. Experience: 1 year in HIM/medical records department, customer service or related field. Preferred Qualifications: Education: Knowledge of anatomy and physiology. Some college preferred. Experience: 2 years in an acute care medical records department; 1 year experience in Release of Information or Analysis role in an acute care setting. Certification: RHIT or RHIA Why Mercy?
