What You'll Do

As a vital part of our front office team, you will:

  • Be the voice of the practice-answer calls professionally and guide patients with clarity and care
  • Coordinate patient appointments, ensuring schedules run smoothly and efficiently
  • Maintain accurate and organized patient records, keeping everything up-to-date
  • Support providers and clinical staff to ensure seamless daily operations
  • Deliver a welcoming, positive experience for every patient interaction
  • Handle administrative tasks like filing, documentation, and office organization
  • Keep communication flowing between patients and the care team to ensure readiness for visits

What You Bring

We're looking for someone who combines professionalism with a patient-first mindset:

  • Medical Assistant (MA) diploma required
  • MA certification required within 3 months of hire
  • Strong communication skills-both on the phone and in person
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience handling calls and scheduling in a medical or office setting
  • Team-player mentality with a willingness to jump in where needed
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced healthcare environment

Bonus Points If You Have

  • Experience in a cardiology or specialty practice
  • Background in medical assisting or front office healthcare roles
  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

Schedule

  • Monday-Friday between 7:15 AM - 5:00 PM ( you will only be assigned a 8-hour shift, some providers start earlier than others, everyone must have the flexibility)
  • No weekends

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wallingford, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
